My name is Patrick O'Connell and I am the CEO and Chief Investigator of D.I.T.S. based in Southwest Ohio conveniently located between Cincinnati and Dayton Ohio.
I am a former U.S. Infantry Marine and retired detective from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Dayton, Ohio. I enlisted in the Marine Corps at 17 yrs of age in 1986 and have continuously served our country and community for over 30 years. As an investigator I worked general cases, sex crimes, violent crimes, homicide, and narcotics. As a DEA Task Force Agent I was responsible for investigating national and international drug trafficking and money laundering cases. I also performed federal investigations involving diversion or "pill mills" while a member of the Dayton Resident Office, Detroit Field Division.
I am an expert witness in the field of narcotics and police procedures. My tactical background began in the Marine Corps and continued as an assigned SWAT Team member where I was a sniper (designated marksman) entry operator and team leader. While a SWAT operator I participated in numerous high risk search warrants, barricade subjects, active shooter, hostage rescue, and personal protection details.
